Recipe for 五香 meat (tested)

Ingredients (16 rolls)

1 kilo 五 花 肉 with pork fat - mince once
1/2 kilo prawn- shell, remove vine and chop
10 chestnut - remove skin and chop
5 onion - remove skin and chop
2 eggs
1 pcs of beancurd skin - cut into 20 small pcs
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper
3/4 teasppon 五香粉
4 tablespoon corn flour
2 tablespoon soya sauce
4 tablespoon fried onion with garlic
2 tablespoon onion oil or seasame oil

Mix all ingredients together and mixed well. If mixture cannot stick together, add flour
then wrap mixture in bean skin. Steam for 15 mins, and leave to cool.

For serving, cut meat into smaller pcs, sprinkle with corn flour, then deep fry.

Ah Ma word of mouth receipt for 五香 meat on Saturday 13 Sep 08

Ingredients

3 kilo of five flower meat - mince once
2 kilo of prawn - remove shelf and chop
1 kilo of water chestnut - chop
9 eggs
corn flour
five spice powder
pepper
fried garlic & onion and oil
salt
soya sauce
4 pcs bean skin

Mix all ingredients together, add salt, pepper, flour etc for taste. Amout of flour enough for meat to stick together.. then wrap meat in bean skin cut in size up to individual
Steam after wrapping all into bean skin. For serving, cut meat roll and sprinkle corn flour, then deep fry.
